Upcycled leather pants- ready for festival.

Festival sæsonen er i den grad i gang med Roskilde der lige har takket af, kommer der for mit vedkommende Vig Festival i slutningen af den kommende uge. Billetten er i hus, så nu gælder det praktisk, varme og funky outfits….Og der har jeg lige syet et par skind bukser om til en boho chic nederdel…kunne godt tænke mig et par korte cowboy støvler til….men det kan osse være der bliver råd til nu hvor denne ikke kostede mig andet end lidt tid.

The festival season is at its peak with Roskilde that has just said thank you for this year, there will be for my part be Vig Festival at the end of the coming week. The ticket is on hand, so now I have to find a practical, warm and funky outfits …. And I’ve just upcycled a pair of old leather pants to a boho chic skirt … would like a pair of short cowboy boots to wear with it ….and maybe I will be able to afford that now that this did not cost me anything but a little time.

Sådan gør du / how to do :

1. Klip det nederste af benene af, så du har længden på din nederdel plus ca. 10 cm.

2. Åben nu indersømmen på buksen.

3. Vend vrangen ud og læg dem fladt på et bord med forstykke mod forstykke, og bagstykke mod bagstykke. Så kan du tydeligt se skridt buen både for og bag. De skal ikke være der, når det skal blive en nederdel, derfor skal du nu sy forstykkerne sammen fra hvor lynlåsen slutter til kanten som en lige linie og få skridt buen klippet af.

Det sammen gør du på bagstykkerne.

4. Klip sømrummet ned til 1 cm. og læg det ud til hver side på vrangen.

5. Prøv nederdelen på og beslut dig for den endelige længde.

6. Hvis du som jeg vil have en lille slids midtbag, så laver du den nu.

7. Klip af så du har længden plus 2 cm til oplægning.

8. Buk kanten og stik den op.

1. Cut the lower legs off so you have the length of your skirt plus about 10 cm.

2. Now open the inseam of the pants.

3.Turn inside out and lay them flat on a table with front against front, and back toward back. Now you can clearly see curved arch front and rear. Do the same with the back.

4.Cut the seam allowance down to 1 cm. and spread the seam to each side on the back side of the leather.
5.Try the skirt on and decide the final length.

6.If want a small slit midback, then you have to make it now.

7.Cut the length plus 2 cm. for the hemseam.

8. Fold the edge and stitch the hem.

Easy peacy new skirt…
