Mustard – The new interior colour. | Home & garden

Efter design messerne Tendence i Frankfurt og Northmodern i København. Har jeg gennemgået mine foto, og er nået til en konklusion – Gult bliver hot, ikke solskinsgul men derimod en sennepsgul. Faktisk er skalaen mellem sennep til en brændt paprika rød blevet set mange steder. Og jeg er vild med det, specielt hvis de bliver sat sammen med noget mere friskt, som f.eks. lyserød (okay kombinationen lyserød og gul er måske set før, men det er stadig lige lækkert at se på) og klar blå…

After the design fairs Tendence in Frankfurt and Northmodern in Copenhagen. Have I reached a conclusion after reviewing my photos from there – Yellow is hot, not bright sunshine yellow, but more like mustard yellow. In fact, the scale from mustard to a burnt red paprika have been seen a lot. And I love it, especially if they are put together with something more fresh such as pink (okay the combination pink and yellow has been seen before, but it still looks really amazing) and clear blue …

Here you see a wonderful wooden cup with the yellow colour like fading from the bottom. It is from the fair trade company Kinta. This was seen at Tendence in Frankfurt.

Fredericia Funiture did a sofa in a combi of yellow and a light beige, which made it look fresh. I like the colour combi very much. Seen at Northmodern in Copenhagen.

A new upcoming Danish design brand By Thornam make these matresses with loop to hang by the wall. Seen at North Modern. And off-course spiced up with a mustard velvet cushion.

Og det er ikke kun tekstilerne der er i den gule farve jeg så også glas og keramik i gul. Her et eksempel på gult glas fra danske ro.

The Danish textile brand Elvang had different variations of the mustard colour woven as lovely soft plaids and cushions. Seen at Tendence in Frankfurt.
