DIY candlesticks made from pipe / DIY lysestager lavet af vandrør.

Vi må se i øjnene, at vi går en mørk tid i møde…men det giver bare anledning til at tænde masser af sterinlys…en af de store glæder ved efterår. Jeg kan godt lide den rå industrielle stil, og faldt over disse vandrør og fittings (som det vist hedder på fagspog ;-)) Da jeg sidst var i Silvan. Og jeg så for noget tid siden at en butik i Stockholm solgte den type stager…hvor jeg naturligvis tænkte…det må da være easy peacy at samle selv….og det er det….seriøst det tager max 10 min. at skrue dem sammen…og så har du cool stager til vinter mørket.

We must realize, that we are facing the dark months of the year … but it just gives me a good reason to light a lot of candles … one of the great joys of autumn. I like the raw industrial interior trend, and fell over these plumbing pipes and fittings, last time I went through my local Silvan . And some time ago I saw some similar candlesticks in a store in Stockholm… which of course I thought … it’s got to be easy peacy to do-it-yourself…. and that’s it …. seriously it takes max 10 min. screwing them together … and then you have cool candlesticks for the cozy winter evenings.

Du kan måske også være heldig at finde gamle vandrør og så får bliver de bare endnu mere rustikke i looket. Men ellers er det du skal købe flg.:

You might also be lucky enough to find old water pipes and then they will become even more rustic in the look. But otherwise this is what you need to buy:

3 stk. grundflancher 1/2″ (fra Silvan)

3 stk. muffe 3/4″ x 1/2″ (fra Silvan)

1 stk. nippelrør 1/2″ x 80 mm (fra Silvan)

1 stk. nippelrør 1/2″ x 120 mm (fra Silvan)

1 stk. nippelrør 1/2″ x 200 mm (fra Silvan)

3 rustik lys i  cremefarvet (fra Søstrene Grene)

Og efter maksimum 10 minutter kan du sætte lys i dine stager…Easy peacy efterårshygge !
