Skolen er i gang og bunker af bøger skal bindes ind….Vi brugte dagen i går på at finde tapet rester i gemmerne og kreere nogle unikke bøger. De har fået en ekstra feature med snor til at markere hvor man er kommet til og ellers bare super personlige bøger. Du kan bruge metoden til hvilket som helst papir, men vælg noget som er kraftigt det holder bedst.

School has started and piles of books to be wrapped…. We spent the day yesterday finding wallpaper remnants in the attic and create some unique books. They’ve got an added feature with string to mark where you have come to, and otherwise just super personal books. You can use the method to wrap with any paper, but choose something that is a bit heavy it is stronger.

Sådan gør du / this is how you do:

Start by placing your book open on the paper to measure the size of it. You have to make it app. 5-8 cm bigger on all sides.

Place the book in the middle and cut slits by the back. Same width as the back of your book.

Fold the slits in, like this.

Now choose a strap for your book, cut it 10 – 12 cm. longer that the height of your book. And use tape to secure it inside by the top back slit in your book.

Fold the top and bottom around the book front and back side. like this.

Now close the book and make sure your strap is placed correct and fold in the paper while the book is closed. Now you have lines that you can use for folding when you open the book. Because here you have to be careful not to tighten the paper too much then you will not be able to close the book.
